Meet the owner

Kindra’s career in Applied Behavior Analysis began somewhat unexpectedly while working as a Pre-K teacher in an early childhood education program. She was especially drawn to the children who learned differently and needed additional support to thrive in the classroom. Wanting to better understand how children develop and how she could more effectively support children and their families, she pursued a Master’s degree in Special Education at the University of Texas at Austin. It was there that she discovered the science of behavior analysis and found her professional calling.

In 2011, Kindra founded her own consulting and in-home ABA practice, focusing on early intervention, parent and teacher training, and social skills groups for elementary-aged children. As the field of ABA evolved, so did her career. She moved into clinical settings, progressing from Case Supervisor to Director of Programming and ultimately serving as a Clinical Director for larger ABA organizations. Along the way, she discovered a particular passion for not only supporting children and families, but helping the next generation of behavior analysts become thoughtful, skilled, and confident clinicians.

For more than a decade, Kindra continued to deepen her knowledge and practice of behavior analysis through collaboration with other professionals, advanced trainings, and hands-on learning opportunities. She attended trainings across a wide range of topics in behavior analysis and completed summer internships with Autism Partnership in California, experiences that have continued to shape her approach to clinical practice and supervision.

Kindra has been part of the Evolve community since 2022, helping train and onboard supervisors and contributing to the systems and resources that have supported the organization behind the scenes. Her deep understanding of Evolve’s people, mission, and work made the transition into ownership a natural next step.

Today, Kindra is excited to lead Evolve Behavior into its next chapter while honoring the foundation on which it was built. She believes that quality supervision is about more than meeting requirements, but it is about creating space for curiosity, critical thinking, collaboration, and lifelong growth. Her goal is to continue building a community where behavior analysts feel supported in becoming the kind of clinicians they want to be.

Outside of ABA, Kindra enjoys spending time with her family, including her stepchildren and three fur babies. She is an outdoor enthusiast who loves hiking, gardening, and pretty much any opportunity to get in the water. A self-described music nerd, she takes advantage of every excuse to see live music around her hometown of Austin, Texas. She also loves traveling and experiencing different cultures and traditions. One day, she hopes to expand the application of ABA by supporting the growth and development of the field internationally.
